Since receiving our mission call, it seems life has gone into overdrive. We are anxious, excited and nervous, but ready to start our new adventure. Larry and I have always had the dream to serve a mission in our later years, and that dream is finally here! With the Lord's help: speaking the Spanish language will return, we will be able to work harder than ever, we will grow to love the people of Chile, and our family will be watched over and protected. It is comforting to see pictures of the beautiful Andes Mountains that separate Chile from my beloved Argentina. Since I left part of my heart there many years ago while on my first mission, I should feel an easy connection. We will definitely miss our family and friends, and hope you will put us in your prayers and thoughts as we embark on doing the Lord's work.
